About Beth Davis

I'm often asked, "Beth, how did you get interested in making jewelry?" My mother had passed away and I inherited my grandmother's wedding ring. Nervous about damaging or losing my treasure I didn't wear it often. I would never wear the ring on my job as a flight attendant for a major airline.

One day while working the beverage cart on a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles, I saw a woman about six rows ahead wearing a very brilliant ring. I couldn't wait to get back to her to study it more closely. As I approached her I could see the piece WAS quite beautiful as I tried to discreetly examine it. Finally the woman, discerning my interest, began telling me all about her precious gem, in French! She didn't speak a word of English.

As I walked away, I knew only two things: The ring was made by her daughter, and it was Swarovski crystal. Soon after that, while on vacation in Venice, Italy, I went into a store that sold Swarovski crystal and bought the materials to make the ring and other accessories I began to create. Every time I wore my pieces I received compliments and people would offer to pay me to make jewelry for them. The more I designed, the more creative I became and found I loved my new job so much that I quit flying and design and create jewelry full time!

I love the many compliments I receive when wearing my jewelry and I know you will too!

Proverbs 31:13 She works diligently with her hands in delight!

Why Swarovski?

The Swarovski Company was founded in 1892 by Daniel Swarovski and his brother. Coming from a long line of crystal cutters, he designed a machine that would do the job. The first crystal cutting machine took six years to create and was patented and put into production in 1898.

Over the years Mr. Swarovski continued to design machining equipment and patents related to his creations. His descendents have continued to be known for perfecting many of the top machining and cutting tools known around the world. In 1965 Swarovski produced an innovative technique for prism angle cutting bringing the greatest reflection.

In 1956 Swarovski Company developed the first "Aurora Borealis" technique of steam application of a permanent reflective finish on crystals. That's where the special beauty and brilliance is created! 1966 brought about the first crystals in gemstone colors such as sapphires, diamonds and emeralds, etc designed by non other than the Swarovski Company. Swarovski creates the most beautiful, colorful and brilliant crystals in the world. So why use Swarovski? Why would I use anything else!
